During times of economic uncertainty — such as those seen since the 2008 financial crisis, liquidity and financing are difficult to find for the development of new ventures and new markets. However, somewhat paradoxically, investment in new ventures and new markets is precisely what creates jobs and — growth. How then can entrepreneurship and a willingness to take risks be preserved during times of austerity and financial turmoil?
