Ms. Katy Clark

BAM President Katy Clark joined the renowned performing arts institution in July, 2015. She oversees BAM’s 248 full-time employees and works alongside long-time BAM Executive Producer, Joseph V. Melillo. Clark leads an adventurous organization that engages with 700,000 audience members each year, presenting live performances and films from around the world. BAM features four live performance spaces, ranging in capacity from 250 to more than 2,000 seats, a vibrant independent cinema program, and far-reaching education and humanities initiatives.

Mr. G. Andrea Danese

Andrea has over 20 years of experience in specialty finance and financial technology. Until November 2015, he was Global Head of Enterprise Content and Distribution at Bloomberg LP. Prior to that, he was the President and COO of Creditex, a credit derivatives electronic trading platform. Andrea started his career in London, where he worked in the Structured Products Group at JPMorgan and later became Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank’s global credit derivatives business.

Dr. Eric R. Kandel

Eric R. Kandel, M.D., is University Professor at Columbia; Kavli Professor and Director, Kavli Institute for Brain Science; Co-Director, Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute; and a Senior Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. A graduate of Harvard College and N.Y.U. School of Medicine, Dr. Kandel trained in Neurobiology at the NIH and in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He joined the faculty of the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in 1974 as the founding director of the Center for Neurobiology and Behavior.

Jessica Lawrence Quinn is the CEO of NY Tech Alliance, a non-profit organization supporting the growth and diversification of New York’s technology sector and running the world's largest Meetup group - NY Tech Meetup. In 2013, she co-founded The Work Revolution Summit, a conference on the future of work. Prior to her work with NY Tech Alliance, Jessica was the CEO of Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council in Southern California, where she supported a community of 75 staff, 5,000 volunteers, and 15,000 girls.

Dr. Theresa Deisher

An expert in adult stem cell research, Dr. Theresa Deisher is the first person to discover adult cardiac-derived stem cells. She also owns 23 issued US patents, whose discoveries have led to clinical trials of fibroblast growth factor 18 for osteoarthritis and cartilage repair, and for Factor XIII for surgical bleeding. Dr. Deisher was a plaintiff in the US federal lawsuit to prohibit use of federal tax payer dollars for embryo destructive research.

Mr. Alan P. Amling

Alan Amling oversees marketing efforts for UPS’s global logistics and distribution services. He moved into this role after serving as head of the New Product Development Concepts Team, overseeing the development of some of UPS’s largest product and marketing initiatives. In addition to traditional products and services, Amling was focused on supporting UPS’s Decision Green platform.

Professor Robert I. Rotberg is the Founding Director of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Program on Intrastate Conflict and President Emeritus of the World Peace Foundation. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and Senior Fellow of the Centre for International Governance Innovation. He was Academic Vice President of Tufts University and President of Lafayette College. Burley, Ph.D. is executive director and chair of the Institute for Information Infrastructure Protection (I3P) and full professor of human & organizational learning at The George Washington University. She is a globally recognized cybersecurity expert who currently co-chairs the ACM Joint Task Force on Cybersecurity Education.
