Innovation and entrepreneurship are regarded as key components of a healthy, successful and dynamic economy. Innovation is also the force behind creating not only new businesses — and therefore economic growth — but solutions to pressing social challenges. The mystery of innovation, however, is difficult to identify and incubate, and, in the end, somewhat miraculous when it bears fruit. What then are the principles of innovation? How can it be identified and supported for both business and social change?
