Kenneth Li joined the Financial Times as a media correspondent in September 2008. Previously, he served as global media correspondent for Reuters, where he covered digital media and such U.S. media conglomerates as Time Warner, Viacom, News Corp., and Liberty Media, focusing on the international expansion of these companies.
Before joining Reuters, Mr. Li served as a full-time staff writer for the New York Daily News, The Industry Standard and TheStreet.com. Recognized as an authority on the media business, Mr. Li is a frequent participant in industry forums, including Internet Week New York. He also co-founded and co-edited MediaFile, a popular blog that highlights the intersection of media and technology.
He holds a B.A. in journalism from New York University and is based in New York.
