Steven T. Dahlberg is the director of the International Centre for Creativity and Imagination, which is dedicated to applying creativity to improve the well-being of individuals, organizations and communities. He has more than 20 years of experience collaborating with artists, scientists, business people, educators, nonprofit and government professionals to help people develop and apply their creativity. Steven co-hosts the “Creativity in Play” radio show and authored the foreword to the book Education is Everybody's Business: A Wake-Up Call to Advocates of Educational Change by Berenice Bleedorn.
He serves on the board of the National Creativity Network, teaches on creativity and innovation in healthcare for Post University, and has taught “Creativity + Social Change” at the University of Connecticut, as well as creativity courses and seminars at Yale University, Rhode Island College and other universities. Steven helps companies develop more creativity and innovation in their employees, leads professional development workshops for schools and districts, and works with community groups to engage creativity in their people and programs.
Mr. Dahlberg has worked and presented with Google, GE, Pilobolus, the Guggenheim Museum, Lincoln Center Institute, Yahoo!, UNESCO, Microsoft, Louisiana’s Office of the Lt. Governor, IBM, the New Economics Foundation, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, and the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, among other organizations. Steven previously ran a creativity foundation and its annual creativity conference; helped toy inventors launch a creativity consulting company; and managed international conferences and networks for corporate learning, talent management and HR leaders.
