Karen has over two decades of experience leading and managing growing, dynamic organizations. After a successful career working in both small and large for-profit organizations, Karen joined YRF to apply her professional expertise to the not-for-profit world in which she had always been active as a volunteer. Karen serves as the volunteer president of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, a Reform synagogue with 1800 members and an operating budget of over $30 million. She is also on the board of the Rodeph Sholom School, a prestigious independent school that combines competitive academics with a liberal Jewish education. Karen graduated from Harvard College cum laude and received an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She lives in New York City with her husband and two sons.
