Environment, Governance and Action (Short Version)

August 22, 2012

In advance of the ‘Conversation’ on Environment, Governance and Action, the panel will focus on the articulation of actionable goals that can be achieved in respect to the stimulation of ‘green’ economics, as well as ways in which government can be compelled to develop and adhere to low-carbon policies and principles. This panel will explore the question of how climate science, at times complex and opaque, can be better conveyed to the public in order to not only raise awareness and support for environmental policy, but also to help the public better understand the consequences of human action in order to change human behavior, on the day-to-day level of human behavior.
